Building Services II (Technischer Ausbau II)

Bachelor - 4th semester - compulsory subject -2 credits

 

Aims:

Aim of the module is the communication of basic characteristics and properties of the different systems. Furthermore, by working on the practical semester exercise students should experience interfaces between the technical systems and the building construction or the designconcept and develop solutions. The focus of the practical processing is on the field of drainage as building permission relevant achievement.With the topics sanitary engineering, drinking water, waste water, electrical installation, building automation and lighting technology, the modul building services 2 finalises the basic subjects. In addition to system aspects, questions about conduit and installation of system components are being discussed.

  • media supply of buildings, sanitation
  • water supply and waste water drainage in buildings: systems, components, (solar) hot water systems, eco-waste water systems, drainage
  • air-conditioning: requirements (comfort), passive cooling, mechanical air-conditioning
  • fire protection: requirements, materials, design aspects,  constructions, technical systems
  • lighting: illuminants, lamps, (day)lighting design
  • electrical installation

Each academic year, summer term

 

Academic achievment and examination:

Lecture course.

Assignment (individual or group work) and oral examination, accompanying the course
